Virtual Tour: Shaw Room

A long Gallery with chandeliers, polished wooden floors, and large windows at one side.

Named in honour of George Bernard Shaw, who left one third of his posthumous royalties to the Gallery, this room houses Daniel Maclise's iconic history painting, as well as portraits of Irish men and women.
