Opening hours

The National Gallery of Ireland is open 361 days a year, closing only on Good Friday, and from 24-26 December. Opening hours are subject to change, and entry to the galleries ceases 15 minutes before the Gallery closes. Admission to the permanent collection is free. Some temporary exhibitions carry a charge, and tickets can be purchased at the information desks at the Millennium Wing and Merrion Square entrances. Exhibitions are free for members

Tuesday - Saturday  9.15am - 5.30pm
Thursday 9.15am - 8.30pm
Sunday  11am - 5.30pm

 

NEW MONDAY OPENING HOURS FROM JANUARY 2019


From 1 January 2019, the Gallery will open at 11am every Monday.
