Lijun says: ‘One ordinary afternoon, a warm ray of sun slipped through a gap in the curtains and shone on my face. It felt nice. The bright warm sunlight sliced through the cold darkness of the room, a satisfying contrast, an even more intriguing image. Captivated by the peaceful serenity of the scene, I decided to record it in paint.’
