Join artist Sarah Ward for this creative workshop inspired by the black and white photographs of John Minihan.

Using just black, white, and shades of grey, children and families can explore expressions, shadows and textures to capture special moments, familiar faces, and everyday scenes that are meaningful to them. On the day, we will also use a special black and white printing camera to instantly capture these memories, giving everyone a tangible keepsake to take home.

  • Free, no booking required. Stay for as long (or as little) as you like.
  • Families with children of all ages welcome.
  • All materials provided.
  • Languages spoken: Irish, English.
  • As activities are rooted in creative expression, with visual cues, models and examples, children of all nationalities can participate fully.

Tá cainteoir Gaeilge ar fáil más fearr leat an cheardlann a dhéanamh trí Ghaeilge – There is an Irish speaker available if you prefer to do the workshop through Irish.
