Join us in the magnificent Shaw Room, and get creative!
Make a portrait of your family, friends and pets with artist Marian Balfe. Together we will look at the painting of Mrs Congreve and her Children by Philip Renagle, and then create our own versions of a contemporary family portrait.
Sunday Family Drop-in is a weekly inclusive, accessible, intergenerational workshop. Devised to support creative engagement for children of all ages and abilities, these sessions are led by an invited artist and supported by the Education Team. - Free, no booking required. Stay for as long (or as little) as you like.
- Families with children of all ages welcome.
- All materials provided.
- Languages spoken: Irish and English, but as activities are rooted in creative expression, with visual cues, models and examples, children of all nationalities can participate fully.
