Discover new art-inspired collections at the National Gallery of Ireland Shop

This summer, there is something for everyone at the National Gallery of Ireland Shop. Celebrating Irish design, the Shop launches three brand new collections complete with a range of bespoke jewellery and accessories that are available to purchase both in store and online.

Shoppers can choose from headpieces, necklaces and keychains created by popular Irish designers Margaret O'Connor, Kiki Na Art and Maeve Barry. This exciting range is available in the Gallery Shop from 28 July 2022.

Clare native, Margaret O'Connor, who has worked with celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Pink Floyd, has created a line of jewellery inspired by Irish culture and humour, along with a number of eye-catching headpieces that are exclusive to the Gallery Shop. Prices range from  €45-180.

Dublin artist Kiki Na Art has created an eclectic line of hand painted jewellery. Costing between €50 and €250, each colourfully designed piece features an artist or an artistic image. This collection is exclusive to the Gallery Shop and all products are one of a kind.

Irish artist and PR Consultant Maeve Barry brings Eve Ray Designs to the Shop, a vibrant range of earrings inspired by Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró. This collection celebrates older, diverse models and is gender-fluid. These products are exclusive to the Shop, priced between €65 and €70.

Lauralee Guiney, Manager at the National Gallery of Ireland Shop commented: “The National Gallery of Ireland Shop is delighted to launch three exciting new Irish designers this summer. These collections are art-inspired, gender-neutral and exclusive to our Shop. We look forward to welcoming visitors to see what we have on offer over the coming months!”

Other exciting new products in the Shop include luxury silk scarves and kimonos by Swedish brand Kueen, an exclusive line of socks, Inspired by Masterpieces and Molly, a Ulysses themed scent, created by Irish artist and perfumer Erin Quinn.

Also on offer at the Gallery Shop is a wider range of homeware and beauty items, produced by Ireland’s first social enterprise design brand We Make Good. Skilled individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds created this collection and all products are sustainable.
