Join us for a live interactive online creative workshop for children and their grown ups.
Let’s Get Creative is an inclusive, accessible, online workshop, devised to inspire creativity in children of all ages and abilities. Running monthly, these sessions give children around the country and beyond, the opportunity to connect with the Gallery.
This month join artist Edel Campbell in this fun, hands-on workshop, inspired by Roderic O'Conor’s painting Flowers, Bottle and Two Jugs. Children will create a still life using cut paper collage and soft pastels. By experimenting with complementary colour pairs (like blue/orange and red/green), they’ll discover how the artist used strokes of contrasting colours to create the illusion of light and shadow.
The materials you will need are glue, paper (plain or coloured or scrap paper) and colouring materials such as pencils or pastels.
