This screening is presented in association with the Embassy of France in Ireland.
In this acclaimed 1923 silent film directed by René Clair, a mad scientist immobilises Paris with a mysterious ray. Paris is fixed, Paris falls asleep. Only the passengers of a plane, their pilot and the guard of the Eiffel Tower remain awake, and they are going to reconquer the capital.
This free screening is part of the 2025 Bastille Day in Ireland Film Programme.
