Explore the art of painting from life through the lens of one of the 20th century's most iconic artists.
Led by artist Bríd Higgins Ní Chinnéide, this two-hour painting workshop draws inspiration from our exhibition, Picasso: From the Studio.
Discover Picasso’s bold approach to composition and form while developing your own interpretation of the human figure. Working from a live nude model, participants will explore a diverse range of painting techniques—experimenting with line, colour, proportion, and gesture to capture the essence of the human form.
The workshop will take place in the Education studio, where a professional model will pose in a series of short, medium-length and long poses.
About the artist: Bríd Higgins Ní Chinnéide,is figurative painter who has been working as a professional painter since 2016. She makes work for exhibitions as well doing privately commissioned portraits. Bríd also teaches workshops to adults and children.
