Location
Reading Rooms (Rooms 35 & 36, Milltown Wing)
Admission

Free, no booking required.

Drop by this free pop-up display in our Reading Rooms in celebration of Art, Migration and the Politics of Belonging.

Step beyond the galleries and discover the stories held in the National Gallery of Ireland’s Library and Archives. This special Culture Night display brings together fascinating and rarely seen books, letters, photographs, and other archival treasures. Exploring themes of migration, identity, citizenship and cultural exchange, the display reveals how artists, artworks and ideas have travelled across borders and through generations. Together, these objects offer new ways of looking at the Gallery’s collections and at the people and stories behind them.
