Learn about LGBTQIA+ stories of artists and sitters in the national collection.
Join us online for this special Heritage Week 2021 event in which we'll explore LGBTQIA+ stories through the Gallery's Library & Archives collections and through a selection of the Gallery’s paintings, prints and drawings.
The talk will be presented by Kate Drinane from the Gallery's Education team, and Donna Rose and Grace O’Boyle, Fellows of our ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art.
This event is part of ‘Library Lates’, a series of informal talks and workshops highlighting materials from the Library and Archives of the National Gallery of Ireland. These free, after-hours events are currently taking place via Zoom.
The event is free but booking is required. To reserve your place, email [email protected]. Ticket holders will be notified of the Zoom details via email 24 hours in advance.
