Join artist Melissa O'Donnell for a tutored drawing session.
Drawing the Collection takes place monthly in front of the artworks in the Galleries. These sessions offer an opportunity to explore artworks, artists, media, and styles through drawing, under the guidance of a tutor. This month we'll explore William Blake’s fantastical world of myth, symbolism, and the ancient past.
All basic drawing materials will be available; however participants are welcome to bring their own
The session will begin at 1pm and conclude at 2.15pm
The price is €5 with a concession rate available for OAPs and Friends

About the artist: Over the past decade, Melissa O’Donnell’s artworks have been exhibited and collected both nationally and internationally, held in private and public collections. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, moving image, and installation. Having recently completed an MFA in Contemporary Art Practices and Studies at NCAD, she has been invited to speak on panels and work as a tutor. Recent exhibitions include Rua Red Arts Centre (NCAD MFA, 2025), a solo exhibition at RHA Ashford (2022), representation with Solomon Fine Art Gallery (2022–2025) exhibited with CAGA RDS (2025) and at Sotheby’s Irish Art Auctions & Exhibitions in Dublin, London, and Paris (2022–2025).
