National Gallery of Ireland launches a Corporate Partnership Programme

SMBC Aviation Capital announced as the Gallery’s first Corporate Partner

Following the recent refurbishment and reopening of the historic wings, the National Gallery of Ireland has re-launched its Corporate Partnership Programme and is delighted to welcome SMBC Aviation Capital, one of the world’s leading aircraft leasing companies, as the first to join since the re-opening.

The Corporate Partnership Programme offers companies a range of benefits from tickets to exhibitions and openings, behind the scenes tours, exhibition sponsorship opportunities and exclusive access for corporate events to the Gallery’s spectacular and newly refurbished spaces.

Commenting on the partnership, Peter Barrett, CEO, SMBC Aviation Capital said:
“We are very pleased to announce this partnership with the National Gallery of Ireland, which is recognised as a leading institution of cultural importance, both in Ireland and internationally. The Gallery contributes significantly to our society and we look forward to celebrating this association with our colleagues and customers who visit Ireland from around the globe.”

Speaking today at the National Gallery of Ireland, Director Sean Rainbird said:
“We are delighted to welcome SMBC Aviation Capital as our first new corporate partner since the re-opening of the Gallery and look forward to working with them. Our corporate partners are very important to the Gallery and their support allows us to expand our programmes and reach out to a wider audience through our work with the Gallery’s permanent collection and exhibitions programme.”

The Gallery has previously welcomed corporate support of its programmes, ranging from conservation to digitisation to education. They include Corporate Partners such as ESB, who support the Centre for the Study of Irish Art (CSIA), Zurich who supported the highly acclaimed exhibition, ‘Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry’, and Focal Media who sponsored a re-fit of the display screens in the Gallery for the re-opening.
