An interactive live digital art display

Take part in a fun and interactive outdoor digital art experience, presented by the French Embassy in collaboration with the National Gallery of Ireland. Step into an interactive live digital art display that puts you in the frame of your own masterpiece - projected on a grand scale onto the historic façade of Merrion Square.

For children and adults alike, join in and have your portrait captured and instantly mirrored on the Gallery walls in the style of iconic artists like Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Berthe Morisot and Mainie Jellett. Be our muse and become part of this immersive experience inspired by Irish, French, and European chefs-d’œuvre from the Gallery's collection, all set to live DJ sets!

This event will take place in the Gallery’s Education Studio from 4pm-8pm, and will then, as darknesss falls, will move outside to the Merrion Square forecourt from 8pm-11pm.

If you can't join us on the night, you'll be able to watch the projection on Facebook live from wherever you are in the world!

This event is part of the European Culture Trail – a EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture) initiative in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
