Audio Described Tour: Art, Migration and the Politics of Belonging

Join the Gallery's tour guides for an audio described exploration of the national collection.

This free public tour invites visually impaired visitors, and their families/friends to explore the National Gallery of Ireland’s collections and exhibitions through the themes of migration, citizenship, identity and belonging. Researched and developed by art historian Dr Katy Milligan and delivered by specifically trained Gallery guides, the tour will uncover stories of movement, exchange, displacement and cultural connection in Ireland and beyond, using the national collection, and Gallery exhibitions.

• This tour is fully accessible to people who are hard of hearing and use a tour guide system with T-loop capabilities.
• An Audio Described Tour of the permanent collection or other temporary exhibitions takes place at 6pm on the third Thursday of every month.
