Explore your creative side over a glass of prosecco or soft drink in a fun atmosphere here at the National Gallery of Ireland and join in our 'Tipple with Art' event!

For the first class in our 2026 series of events, you’ll learn to paint A Ship against the Mewstone, at the Entrance to Plymouth Sound by Joseph Mallord William Turner. 

No experience is necessary - an artist-facilitator will be on hand to guide you. All you need to bring is your imagination, and we’ll provide everything else! 

Ticket price includes a canvas for your creation, use of all equipment and materials, plus a glass of prosecco or a soft drink. There's also an option to purchase a Gallery tote bag in which to carry your work home.

This event is strictly over 18s.

We will be photographing the event; please let one of the organisers know if you do not wish to be photographed.
