Explore our exhibition, Picasso: From the Studio, on this in-depth sketching tour.
This engaging sketching tour will incorporate rich historical information, art appreciation and lightly facilitated tuition. Sketching directly from art objects enhances our observational skills, fosters a deeper understanding of visual form, and strengthens our ability to perceive the world around us.
On this tour, our expert artist educators will guide you as you look closely at superb artworks from Picasso’s studios and respond through your own expressive mark-making. All materials are provided, and no artistic training or ability is required, simply a desire to look, learn and respond creatively!
- Ticket includes entry to the exhibition.
- We will provide clipboards, paper and pencils.
- You can bring your own dry materials, if you like.
- No wet materials (paint, watercolour etc.) allowed.
- Meet your guide at the Exhibition Desk, level 1.
- Read our Visitor Guide for details of what to expect on your visit to the Gallery.
