Thursday Lates at the National Gallery of Ireland

Join us on selected Thursdays in October, November and December for an evening of fun at your National Gallery of Ireland with music, tours, talks, and lots more, plus €5 tickets to see our major autumn exhibition Lavery. On Location.

Join us on 7 December for a Thursday Lates full of festive cheer

Highlights on the evening include: 

  • 3pm: A talk by our Director Dr Caroline Campbell about her book, The Power of Art, followed by a book signing at 4pm
  • 4.30pm and 7.15pm: Free guided tours exploring a selection of works from our collection that celebrate the spirit of Christmas
  • 5pm: Holiday Crafts - join our arts facilitators in our café to make a range of holiday decorations
  • 5pm: Mulled cider and mince pies in the Gallery Shop and the Courtyard
  • 5.30pm: Santa will be on location in the Gallery throughout the evening
  • 6pm: Dublin's LGBT+ choir Glória will be in our Shaw Room performing their signature mix of festive favourites, Glória classics and new carols which we know you will love! Book your free place
  • See our winter exhibition Lavery. On Location for €5. Friends of the Gallery go free.
