Emilie says: "This is a 3D clay portrait of my Mom. She has curly hair and I liked creating this bit the most. I used a cake decorating tool to create this texture. For other parts of the portrait, I pinched out the features or added more clay to the face and blended it in. I also carved out certain sections. This is my first portrait using this material which allowed me to explore these different techniques.".
