Tugann na turais phoiblí saor in aisce seo cuireadh do chuairteoirí iniúchadh a dhéanamh ar bhailiúcháin agus ar thaispeántais Ghailearaí Náisiúnta na hÉireann trí théamaí na himirce, na saoránachta, na féiniúlachta agus an mhuintearais.
Rinne an staraí ealaíne Dr Katy Milligan taighde agus forbairt orthu, agus cuirfidh treoraithe Gailearaí a bhfuil taithí acu iad i láthair. Inseoidh na turais scéalta faoi ghluaiseacht, malartú, díláithriú agus Ceangal Cultúrtha in Éirinn agus thar lear. Ag tarraingt ar an mbailiúchán náisiúnta, agus ar thaispeántais sa Ghailearaí, beidh sé mar aidhm ag gach turas cuairteoirí a spreagadh chun smaoineamh ar an gcaoi a bhféadfaidís machnamh a dhéanamh ar smaointe atá ag teacht chun cinn faoi náisiúntacht, pobal agus féiniúlacht phearsanta thar am agus áit.
- Is féidir leat bualadh le do threoraí turais ag ár nDeasc Taispeántais, in aice le bealach isteach Sciathán na Mílaoise.
- Léigh ár dTreoir do Chuairteoirí chun sonraí a fháil ar cad ba cheart a bheith ag súil leis ar do chuairt ar an nGailearaí.

This free public tour invites audiences to explore the National Gallery of Ireland’s collections and exhibitions through the themes of migration, citizenship, identity and belonging.
Researched and developed by art historian Dr Katy Milligan and delivered by experienced Gallery guides, the tours will uncover stories of movement, exchange, displacement and cultural connection in Ireland and beyond. Using the national collection, and Gallery exhibitions, each tour will encourage visitors to consider how art can reflect evolving ideas of nationhood, community and personal identity through time and place.
