A special French edition of Tipple With Art – enjoy painting your own masterpiece inspired by the Gallery’s Collection of French art while sipping on a special French Crémant or Kir Crémant.
Join French artist and historian Jérôme Courtaux for a discussion along-side the National Gallery’s Gustave Caillebotte painting Banks of a Canal, near Naples (c. 1872), before turning your own hand to the canvas.
No experience is necessary - an artist-facilitator will be on hand to guide you. All you need to bring is your imagination, and we’ll provide everything else!
Ticket price includes a canvas for your creation, use of all equipment and materials, plus a glass of prosecco or a soft drink. There's also an option to purchase a Gallery tote bag in which to carry your work home.
This event is strictly over 18s.
We will be photographing the event; please let one of the organisers know if you do not wish to be photographed.
