National College of Art and Design (NCAD) Museums Module: using the Museum/Gallery as a Resource in the Art Class
The NCAD Museums’ Module is a collaborative project between the Faculty of Education, NCAD, the National Gallery of Ireland, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Douglas Hyde Gallery, the National Museum of Ireland, and the Dublin City Gallery: The Hugh Lane.
By introducing student teachers to the education departments of the major museums and galleries in Dublin, the Module aims to facilitate student teachers in exploring and utilising the wealth of resources available in these institutions with their pupils while on teaching practice.
