This exhibition is a unique collaboration between the National Gallery, London, the National Gallery of Ireland, and the National Gallery of Scotland. Many of the works in the show are on loan from private collections, and regional galleries, providing visitors with a rare opportunity to see works not easily available to the public.

Adult Events, Tours, Workshops, and Lectures

To coincide with the exhibition, the National Gallery of Ireland has developed a series of complementary events. Lectures, recitals, tours, talks, concerts, study days and mornings have all been organised to develop a deeper understanding of Caravaggio and his followers.

Events and Workshops for Young People, Children, and Families.

A series of workshops and events have been designed by the Education Department to explore key themes in the exhibition in a fun and creative way. Delving deeper in to the world of Caravaggio and his followers, these workshops will encourage participants to create their own masterpieces!

Resources and Information for Teachers, Students, Researchers, and Specialist Groups

For school, community, and special needs groups, tailored workshops can be booked. In the form of podcasts, video, library and archive material, the National Gallery of Ireland has a wide range of resources available from which to learn more about Caravaggio. The Library and Archive Collection can be accessed for research by appointment.
