Join artist Cian McLoughlin for an in-depth weekend drawing course, inspired by the exhibition Turning Heads: Rubens, Rembrandt and Vermeer.

Through contextual visits to the exhibition and an exploration into processes employed by the exhibiting artists, the course aims to provide a deeper understanding of how drawing the head. 

The course is suitable for artists of all skill levels and all materials are provided.

Cian McLoughlin is a Dublin based artist who has exhibited widely both internationally and in Ireland. Some of his notable exhibitions include 'Quick Response' in NCAD, Dublin in 2023, 'Tronies', in the Molesworth Gallery, Dublin in 2017 and 'The Middle Watch', J Cacciola Gallery, in New York in 2014. Cian is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Painting Dept in NCAD and artist in residence at the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience.
