This series of special Sunday talks will explore aspects of photography from the historical to the technical. Speakers will focus on the works in the exhibition Moment in Time: A Legacy of Photographs | Works from the Bank of America Collectionthe origin of photography, the Gallery’s own fledgling collection, and what the future holds for the art of photography. 

This week, we are joined by Elizabeth M. Kirwan, Assistant Keeper, Special Collections: Photographs/Conservation National Library of Ireland. Elizabeth will discuss the origins of photography.
