Inspired by the exhibition Shaping Ireland: Landscapes in Irish Art, this 6-week course will teach participants how to incorporate mindfulness techniques into their busy lives. Each session will include practical art-making, creating work which explores human impact on the land, and will conclude with time for relaxation and reflection. Weather-permitting, practical parts of the sessions will take place outdoors.

Beth O'Halloran is an artist and art historian who has studied Zen meditation for 3 years in Japan. The course offers an immersive experience of looking, creating and de-stressing. The aim is to quiet the mind and draw inspiration from artworks in the exhibition and collection.
