Drop-in family workshop: Poetic Portraits
Location |
Maples Group Creative Space
|
Admission |
Free. No booking required. |
Referencing photographic works of Julia Margaret Cameron, participants will create "smudged, torn, dirty, and undefined" portraits using pastels and stencils. Join Sarah Edmondson for this free drop-in workshop inspired by our exhibitions View of Ireland: Collecting Photography and Moment in Time: A Legacy of Photographs | Works from the Bank of America Collection.
At our weekly drop-in workshops, children and their parents/guardians/carers are encouraged to work together on creative projects. Drop-in and stay for as long (or as little!) as you wish.
Suitable for children of all ages, these workshops take place in the Maples Group Creative Space in our Atrium.
Our free workshops take place weekly, every Sunday from 11.30am. See a full listing of upcoming family workshops
This event is presented in association with our exhibition Moment in Time: A Legacy of Photographs | Works from the Bank of America Collection.
This exhibition is made possible through the Bank of America Art in our Communities® program.
