Drawing Workshop with Tom McLean

07 September 14.00 - 16.00

Millennium Wing Studio

Join artist Tom McLean for a special drawing workshop inspired by Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light

Tom will discuss the development of his practice, touching on second- and third-level education and post-graduation. Using examples of his own work, at various stages of completion, he will discuss how to plan a painting from conceptual idea, to preliminary drawing, to the initial stages of the painting. Participants will then take part in a practical workshop, with Tom demonstrating the skills needed for the first steps of portrait making. All materials provided.
