A phased reopening of the Gallery began on 22 June 2020. 

The safety of our visitors and staff is our paramount concern and continues to be central to our reopening plans. Read more about what to expect when you visit.

Gallery Shop opening hours

(from 22 June)

Mon: 11am – 4.30pm
Tues to Sat: 10.30am – 4.30pm
Sun: 11.30am – 4.30pm

Gallery opening hours

(from 29 June)

Mon: 11am – 5.30pm
Tues to Sat: 9.45am – 5.30pm 
Sun: 11.30am – 5.30pm

If you have purchased a ticket for an event with us, you may choose to donate the cost of your ticket to support the future of the National Gallery of Ireland. We appreciate your support.

If you would prefer to receive a refund, our team will be in touch. If you purchased by cash or at the Gallery ticket desk, these transactions will only be possible to refund once the Gallery reopens.
