Join Kate Drinane and Catherine O'Donnell, from the Gallery's Education team, for live virtual tours of the Zurich Portrait Prize and Young Portrait Prize exhibitions.
These tours will be broadcast live to schools via ZOOM, and will be followed by a Q&A. Tours will take place on three dates, with each linked to the curriculum and tailored to a different age group. Up to 50 schools will be able to take part in each tour.
UPDATE: School closure changes: In light of recent government announcements we want to ensure that students are able to access the session scheduled for Tuesday 26 January while schools are closed. We have therefore altered the times of the tour in order to accommodate all students viewing the webinar individually. We will also record the webinar so it’s available for any students who can’t make the live session.
Please note new times for Primary schools on Tuesday 26 January:
- 10am-11am: 1st-3rd class
- 11.30am-12.30pm: 4th-6th class
Junior cycle: Tuesday 2 February, 10am-11am
Senior cycle: Tuesday 9 February, 10am-11am
Please note that this workshop is part of our pilot programme to test new approaches to teaching and learning during COVID-19. By booking a tour, you agree to help us with our research by completing a post-tour survey.
