Education/Outreach
The National Gallery of Ireland is pleased to inform visitors of
an expanded service to its popular programme 'Art for All Ages'.
'Art for All
Ages' is organised as part of the Gallery's Education and Outreach
Services and aims to encourage creativity and life-long learning.
Up until recently the programme comprised of week-long events in
May, September and February. It will now be expanded and enhanced
to include a monthly event for older people interested in learning
more about the Gallery and its collection.
Activities
will take place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month starting on Wednesday
April 12th at 2pm in the Lecture Theatre with a talk on Mary Magdalene-Saint
or Sinner? by Gallery curator, Janet McLean. The new 'Art for All
Ages' monthly events are open to adults. Admission is free and materials
are provided. No booking necessary.
