The National Gallery
of Ireland is committed to providing a website that is accessible
to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
We are currently undertaking a project to launch a new and improved
website and in doing so we are actively working to increase the
accessibility and usability of the new website which will adhere
to many of the available standards and guidelines.
The new website, when
launched, will endeavour to conform to level AA of the World Wide
Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. Conformance
with these guidelines will help make the new website more user friendly
for all people.
At present our website
does not confirm to current guidelines. However the National Gallery
of Ireland, through the launch of a new website in the Spring of
2010, will strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards
for accessibility and usability.
The National Gallery
of Ireland is committed to ensuring that its new website will be
accessible to everyone. If you have any questions please contact
us as we are continually striving to improve the experience
for all visitors.
