Contemporary Irish Artists in Conversation

In Conversation

Anniversary Programme: Contemporary Irish Artists 2014

This special Anniversary Series includes a number of leading contemporary Irish artists who will discuss their work with a guest chair. They will explore what it means to be an artist in the twenty-first century, art and artists who influenced them, and continue to be a source of inspiration, how they view the role of museums, and their place in illustrating the history of art.

This lecture series is a reminder of the creative output of artists that forms the basis of our collections. The series takes place in February and March on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm and concludes with a wine reception.
