The National Gallery of Ireland is a partner in a European network of over twenty museums and cultural heritage organisations active in lifelong learning. The Learning Museum Project aims to create working groups to research a range of topics, including access for people in later life & learning, audience research, museums as learning organisations, intercultural dialogue, museums of the 21st century. The project involves meetings in different countries to exchange research leading towards a conference, reports and website. Led by Education, it involves staff from several departments.
The Learning Museum Network Project needs your help in completing a brief survey on the theme of Key Trends in Museums of the Future. It will only take a few seconds to complete and every person who contributes helps to give a more accurate picture of our museum world. Find out more
The project is funded by the EU Grundtvig Lifelong Learning Programme.
