Luan Gallery to welcome home Athlone's famous son

Luan Gallery is gearing up to launch 'McCormack', an exhibition featuring 'Portrait of John Count McCormack' by Sir William Orpen, on loan from the National Gallery of Ireland. Also showing: 'The People’s Tenor', a documentary film produced by Martin Dwan, and a bronze portrait bust by artist Elizabeth O’Kane.

Sarah Pierce: Pathos of Distance

Pathos of Distance is a new artwork by Sarah Pierce created in collaboration with the ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art, National Gallery of Ireland. The exhibition focuses on the visual representation of Irish migrants in art and popular media produced outside of Ireland between 1840 and 1915.
