Stephen McKenna PPRHA
Member of the Royal Hibernian Academy. Painter. Studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College, London. Senior Lecturer in Painting, Canterbury College of Art (1965–67), Guest Artist, Bahnhof Rolandseck Germany (1971–73), Guest Artist, Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst, Berlin (1984), Guest Professor, Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Braunschweig (1995 – 96), Member of Aosdána (1999), Member of The Royal Hibernian Academy (2002), President of the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin (2005 – 09), Member of the Board of Governors and Guardians of the National Gallery of Ireland (2004-2008 and 2015-17). Stephen’s work featured in numerous public collections in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.
