In keeping with annual tradition, the Vaughan Bequest of watercolours by JMW Turner (1775-1851) was exhibited for the month of January. The 31 watercolours, spanning the artist’s career, were shown alongside a number of examples from his Continental tours, which depict such stunning locations as The Doge’s Palace in Venice and Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.
