9th April – 28th September 2008
This exhibition of prints was the result of an exciting collaboration with the vibrant printmaking workshop Graphic Studio Dublin, based on the northside of Dublin. The show featured contemporary prints and works from the Gallery’s world renowned collection of paintings and drawings. The artists had the freedom to explore the idea of revelation in whatever way they choose. The prints created referred to religious faith, intellectual discovery and science and nature. The catalogue featured images of all the works in the show with texts by the artists, an introductory essay by the curator Anne Hodge and a wide ranging exploration of the idea of revelation by Mark Patrick Hederman OSB, philosopher and writer.
Edited by Anne Hodge with essays by Brian Lalor and Mark Patrick Hederman OSB and contributions by the artists.
