Symposia

Since 1999 the Education Department has organised a series of symposia exploring various aspects of learning in museums. The proceedings from these symposia have been published and are available for purchase from the Gallery.

The 2011 Symposium, 'Future Forecasting' was held on Thursday 3 November. Videos of the speakers are now available to watch online. Find out more.

Research Day

Research Day is held by the Gallery every two years and explores new ideas and research at post-graduate level.  Papers usually deal with topics relevant to the Gallery and its collections, art in general or museum studies.
